Our software has been built from the ground up to focus on what is truly important for nonprofits, small businesses, and Scouts. After struggling with numerous event management programs over the years for our own events, we decided to built our own platform and offer it to Scouters across the country. We offer you:

Trevor and Grant are the co-founders of Third Point Labs and the developers of Polaris. They met at Robert Morris University, their alma mater, through the bond of the Scouting program. Both Eagle Scouts, they are members of the Eagle Scout fraternity, Epsilon Tau Pi, and have been involved in the Scouting program since Cub Scouts.
In 2014, Robert Morris University's chapter of Epsilon Tau Pi decided to run their first Merit Badge University, with Trevor and Grant both actively involved in the event planning. After struggling to find an event management software that fit the needs of a Scouting event, they decided to code the first version of what is now Third Point Labs' Polaris.
After positive feedback, they went back to the drawing board and, over the next few years, rewrote the event software numerous times, improving and adding features along the way (including emailing event tickets to attendees, check in via ticket scan, blue card pick up and drop off confirmation, etc.) We are now offering Polaris, our web-based event management system, to Councils, Districts, Units, Scouters, and friends of the Scouting program.
